Meet at the Visitor Centre, White Cliff. Time: 6am - 8am Cost £7.00 including parking, walk bacon sandiches, tea & coffee. Booking essential, Max 20. Description: join us as we take in views of the sunrise and take in beautiful and unique dawn chorus walk with our local expert. Finish back at the Visitor Centre with warm bacon sandwiches and hot drinks to enjoy the views of any migratory birds flying over the famous cliffs. Outstanding Orchids - Guided Walk

Location: Meet at the Visitor Centre, White Cliffs. Time: 1pm - 3pm, approx 2 miles. Allow 2 hours. Cost: Free, but donations welcome. Limited spaces so pre booking advisable. Normal car park fees apply. Description: Help us hunt out the beautiful but sometimes rare orchids that thrive on the chalk grassland. Our expert leader will also talk about other varied flora at this time of year. The walk may be over steep or uneven ground. Please wear the appropriate clothing and footwear.

The Tri-Hospice Cycle Challege

The Tri - Hospice Cycle Challenge is a 70 mile route starting at Pilgrims Hospice in either Canterbury, Ashford or Thanet Hospices, and taking in all three sites. The Tri - Hospice Cycle Challenge will have staggered departures from 8 am. Join Olympic Gold Medalist Jamie Staff and set yourself a personal challenge, cycle in memory of someone, have a day out with collegues, or even compete with local businesses. Adults and children alike can come along and try out a variety of games from Connect 4 to Battleships, Ludo to Tiddlywinks. Drop in anytime between 10am - 16.30. For families from outside the DDC area normal admission rates of £3 per adult and £2 per child apply. There is NO extra charge for the workshop. Plant Fair Weekend.

On the 8th and 9th April. Time: 10am - 4pm. Cost: Free. Normal car park fees apply. Description: Step into Spring at the White Cliffs Plant Fair. A marquee at the Visitor Centre will contain thouands of plants to temp your green fingers, grown especially by our dedicated volunteer growers. Other stalls include tombola and second hand books.
