To receive any declarations of either personal or prejudicial interest that Members may wish to make.


3. MINUTES

To approve the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 16th October 2007 (copy attached).


4. COMMITTEE BUDGET

To consider latest out-turn against the Committee’s 2007/08 budget (to follow).

To consider the Committee’s draft budget provision for the 2008/9 municipal year.


5. TOWN COUNCIL LINKS

To consider the current position regarding links with Calais, Split & Zeebrugge, including an offer from Dover Roman Painted House to provide free entrance to the House for visitors from our twin town of Split, Croatia.


6. DOVERS OF THE WORLD

To receive a presentation from Mrs L Sencicle regarding her project concerning the Dovers of the World.



7. COASTAL KENT PROGRAMME

To receive a presentation from Ms C Parker from the Kent Tourism Alliance concerning the Coastal Kent Programme.


8. REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY COMMEMORATIONS – 11TH NOVEMBER 2007

To consider the current position regarding preparations for the Town Council’s Remembrance Sunday Commemorations on Sunday 11th November 2007.

To consider the Town Clerk’s Urgent Decision under Standing Order 67 UD 07/08 064 dated 17th October 2007 concerning raising an order for Cantium Brass Band to provide music at the Town Council’s Remembrance Sunday Commemorations on Sunday 11th November 2007 (copy attached).

To consider the Town Clerk’s Urgent Decision under Standing Order 67 UD 07/08 065 dated 18th October 2007 concerning raising an order for St. John Ambulance to provide first aid cover at the Town Council’s Remembrance Sunday Commemorations on Sunday 11th November 2007 (copy attached).


9. ST. GEORGE’S DAY/ZEEBRUGGE RAID COMMEMORATIONS 2008

To consider the current position regarding preparations for the Town Council’s St. George’s Day/Zeebrugge Raid Commemorations on 23rd April 2008.


10. TOURISM

To discuss and exchange information regarding Tourism in Dover.


11. DOVER/CALAIS FESTIVAL OF SPORT

To consider the current position regarding the provision of medals for future Dover/Calais Festivals of Sport.


12. HMS KENT

To consider and note the Chairman of Kent County Council’s letter of 23rd October 2007 concerning the cancellation of HMS Kent’s planned visit to Dover in November 2007 (copy attached).


13. PORTSMAN OF DOVER

To consider Town Council minute No. 380 regarding the title and honour of Portsman of Dover (copy of minute and Councillor Mrs L Young’s report attached).


14. BEACH VOLLEYBALL

To consider Town Council minute No. 372 b) concerning the possibility of creating a beach volleyball court on Dover Seafront (copy of minute attached).
