5. VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND APPLICATIONS FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE*

To consider the following applications from organisations for financial assistance:-

a) Dover Town Centre Management Company Ltd;
b) Ms Christine Gist – Paradise Revealed Arts Project;
c) Relate East Kent;
d) Dover Athletic Supporters Society Ltd;
e) Mr G R Wanstall (Flagpole installation at Connaught Park);
f) Support Act;
g) White Cliffs Country Tourism Association;
h) 3rd Dover Scouts.




6. SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS

To consider the schedule of payments by the Town Council for February 2008 (copy attached).


7. TOWN COUNCIL INTERNAL AUDIT

To consider McCabe Ford Williams letter of 12th February 2008 following the Internal Audit visit (copy attached).


8. CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

To consider the Project Development Officer’s report concerning a Child Protection Policy for Dover Town Council (to follow).


9. STAFF TRAINING

To consider the Town Clerk’s report of 26th February concerning attendance at the Annual conference of the National Association of Local Councils (copy attached).


10. TOWN COUNCIL LAND

To consider the payment of Kent County Council’s invoice of 7th February 2008 concerning legal fees for the sale of Town Council land at Edgar Road (copy attached).

To consider the Deputy Town Clerk’s report of 7th March 2008 regarding transfer of land at Knight’s Templars (copy attached)


11. LEGAL SERVICES HOURLY RATES 2008/09

To consider Kent County Council’s letter of 20th February 2008 concerning Legal Services Hourly Rates 2008/09 (copy attached).


12. COUNCILLORS’ FORUM

To consider the Councillors’ Forum held today, 12th March 2008 and the Chairman’s interim progress report.


13. EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

To consider a motion for the exclusion of the public for the remainder of the meeting.
