5. SCHEDULES OF PAYMENTS

To consider the schedules of payments by the Town Council for December 2007 in accordance with Standing Order 53 (copies attached).


6. BUDGET OUT-TURN

To consider the budget out-turns to 31st December 2007 (copy attached).


7. EXTERNAL AUDIT

To receive and consider the External Auditors’ certificate and opinion on the Town Council’s Annual Return for the year ended 31 March 2007 (copy attached).

To note that the Town Council has complied with regulations concerning the display of the notice of conclusion of audit and right to inspect the annual return, and the publication of the annual return.


8. TOWN ANNUAL MEETING 2008

To consider the Town Clerk’s report of 202nd January 2008, concerning the date for Town Annual Meeting 2008 (copy attached).


9. TOWN COUNCIL REPRESENTATION AND REPRESENTATIVES’ REPORTS

To consider any reports that the Town Council representatives on outside bodies may wish to make.


10. MAYORAL ENGAGEMENTS AND MAYOR’S REPORT

To consider the list of Mayoral engagements since the meeting on 12th December 2007 (to follow).

To receive a report from the Town Mayor on any developments since that meeting.


11. DOVER GRAMMAR SCHOOL FOR BOYS

To consider the Town Clerk’s report of 23rd January 2008 concerning financial assistance for an ecological event planned by Dover Grammar School for Boys (copy attached).


12. EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

To consider a motion for the exclusion of the public for the remainder of the meeting.


13. STAFFING

To note the Town Clerk’s Urgent Decision ref UD 07/08 – 072 concerning the placement of and advertisement in the Dover Express Newspaper regarding the post of Receptionist (copy attached).

To note the Town Clerk’s Urgent Decision ref UD 07/08 – 073 concerning the placement of and advertisement in the Dover Mercury Newspaper regarding the post of Receptionist (copy attached).

To consider the selection panel’s report dated 22 January 2008 concerning the appointment of two part-time Receptionists (copy attached).
